I'm going to turn this into a blog post, but I wanted to get some suggestions first.
What do you think someone who doesn't know anything should do to be ready? I want to keep this more as a survival theme, rather then a mount an attack plan. This is for the people who just want to survive, running is fine with them.
A few rules.
not in order:
-Double-tap
-Cardio
-Avoid bathrooms
-Stretch
Some other basic pieces of information:
-Zombies infect you by biting, spitting, any fluid transfer such that solanum infects another human being
-Avoid zombies. (Duh, but still, if this person knows nothing...)
-Find remote areas, build up supply stores, find a team, wait out the apocalypse.
This is some obvious starter materials. Figure it'd generate ideas.
No guns, these are people who just need to run, first these people will never be able to acquire a gun after they realize the zombie apoc has started, let alone know how to use it.

The world is ending, give it up already :).
My first stop, whether fighting it out or running, would be a gun store. As mentioned before,

Either you run well enough that you never come within a few feet of a zombie or make sure your prepared to take it out before it gets that close.

So here's a thought. What do you do to pass the time, assuming you can make it to safety? And where is safety?

read of course, meditate, stretch, yogo? what would you do if you didn't have power?
practice shooting if I made it without needing it and ammo was plentiful. on another note, how Do you know the zombie plague has ended?
